class description

Chair Based Fun Functional Fitness, One of Three Classes

An effective seated one hour program targeting improving our strength and balance.

Pacing and movements are managed with the expectation that, though it is good to challenge ourselves, the best workout is one that can be completed safely while having fun, enabling us to more comfortably do our ADL’s, activities of daily living.

Adan & Sheila Lerma, both seniors, are licensed and certified in various modes of chair based exercise, including aerobics, weights, balance, and yoga.

Come join us for an hour of meeting new people, and learning new things about what we can do.

Fitness and wellness tips are shared through-out the hour long session.

Both yoga and aerobic chair based classes are also taught.

Feel free to attend one, two, or all three classes – for a complete fitness sequence of fun.

Line Dance

Learn & Do

Electric Slide and Cotton-Eye Joe are two of the dance steps that are designed to improve your cardio endurance, memory, and fitness fun in a group setting.

A warmup and cool-down are always included, and fitness and wellness tips are shared through-out the hour.

Come alone, or bring a friend (or two), and all adult ages are welcome!
